In Appreciation
At the May
6th primary I received approximately 11% of the vote. So, for those of you
who voted for me, I want to earnestly say “thank you”. We knew this would
be a long shot. For those who supported me and were not able vote for me,
remember, we are not finished yet.
In reviewing the reasons for my
candidacy, we have to look at the performance of incumbent congressman
Brad Miller. Congressman Miller became the first from North Carolina to
represent the newly created 13th District. He has served in that capacity
since 2002.
Primary in my candidacy was the
issues of monetary policy. In Article I Section 8 subsection 5 “Congress
shall have power: ---- To coin money, regulate the value thereof, and of
foreign coin, -----. Much of my efforts focused on the fact that since
2002 the dollar had lost 40% of its value. The dollar is in such a tumble
that by the November general election we could be looking at a dollar that
has lost ½ of its 2002 value. Confirming his general support for the
“Monied Interest”, incumbent Brad Miller voted in favor of the “Wall
Street bail out”.
Sparing you of the enormous
ramifications of a declining dollar, let me but ask you to ponder the
issue when you fill your vehicle with fuel and shop for family essentials.
As kindly as I can say it, anyone
with that kind of performance in any other profession would be terminated.
Said more bluntly if any member of Congress does not demonstrate a clear
and competent grasp of what The Federal Reserve System has done to our
nation AND demonstrate the active opposition to the failed monetary
policies that have raped the American public, they should be replaced.
Congressman Brad Miller faces
Republican Hugh
Webster in the November general election. Of the things we should
remember about
Republican Hugh Webster is: he was respectful of the North Carolina
State Constitution when he served as State Senator. So, fellow Democrats,
I must endorse
Republican Hugh Webster for U.S. House of Representatives.
Thank you again,
Derald Hafner
