Meet Derald Hafner
We need and can have
jobs in America. And those jobs must have a labor rate that will sustain a
family without creating debt.
Without question the
economy is a key focal point of the coming election. I am of the opinion
that to best understand the economy is to first understand our personal
economy. And so I am generally going to speak in terms that relate to
jobs, labor rate, and debt.
For those who would like to dig deeper, I am
going to list resources with nearly every positional statement.
And for those of you that have a mortgage, I discuss the way we got
into the ?mortgage meltdown? and I make clear my concern that congress
intends to bail out the big moneyed interest.
If you have any debt at all, read my explanation of the economy and
the mortgage meltdown.
Whoever controls the money system, controls the nation. In 1913 we
unconstitutionally handed the control of our money to the Federal Reserve
System on the premise that they would eliminate the boom and bust cycles
of the economy. But, just twenty years later government was responding to
monetary crisis by taking the constitutional rights of people to
reestablish confidence in the banking system. This paragraph should have a
familiar ring!
On social issues, our constitution was never intended to respond to
individual social needs. If you look at the historical roots of education,
health care, and the extremely difficult issue of welfare, you will find
them in the Church; not in government. There has always been critical
needs in these areas. Indeed, we find reference to God's divine providence
(read the Declaration of Independence). And the gratitude "to Almighty
God, the Sovereign Ruler of Nations," - from the Preamble of the North
Carolina State Constitution.
It's a slippery slope that gives up freedoms to answer "needs". Our
founding fathers in crafting the constitution clearly understood that
rights come from God. Government is instituted to secure rights.
I strongly urge you to read, print, and share my expanded discussion
of these issues.
